INTRODUCTION
The Piedmont Cancer Registry, City of Turin, covers a population of 899.806 inhabitants at the 2001 census. The Registry started collecting incident cases in 1985.
The period of observation is now long enough to allow the evaluation of time trends in incidence, mortality, 5-10-15 year survival; 18-year observed prevalence is also available, and on this basis the total prevalence has been estimated.
All these indicators are provided through tables and graphs along the series of standard tables in this section of the web-site. The most of the above data will be up-dated annually.
