The Legislative Decree N. 6 of 12 January 2016, transposing the European Directive 2014/40 / EU on the approximation of laws, regulations and administrative provisions of the Member States concerning the manufacture, presentation and sale of tobacco products and related products, has just been published in the Official Journal.
Directive 2014/40 / EU repeals Directive 2001/37 / EC (adopted by Decree no. 184 of 24 June 2003) and is aimed at ensuring a high level of health protection through greater restrictions and warnings to dissuade consumers (in particular, young people) from the purchase and consumption of products made of tobacco and nicotine.
