Prevenzione Serena screening programme is constantly monitored and evaluated through performance indicators and quality standards defined at national level by the Italian mammographic, cervical and colorectal screening groups - GISMa, GISCi, GISCoR - and at regional level by DGR n. 11-3632 of 2006 and subsequent updates, in agreement with the European Guidelines on Quality Assurance in cancer screening.
The activity data of the regional programme were collected thanks to the collaboration of all the screening operators active in Piedmont and processed by the SSD Epidemiologia Screening CRPT (CPO Piemonte) AOU Città della Salute e della Scienza di Torino.
