The XXX edition of the Summer Course in Epidemiology organized by the European Educational Programme in Epidemiology (EEPE) will be held in Florence from June 19 to July 7, 2017.

The course is taught by an international faculty and involves students from all over the world, in three weeks providing an overview of epidemiological and biostatistical methods, from planning and carrying out studies to data analysis and interpretation of the results.

To celebrate its XXX anniversary the EEPE decided this year to set up the Rodolfo Saracci Inaugural Lecture. For all the details of the initiative, see the online page on the EEPE website.

In the third week, students can choose from several thematic modules, including advanced methods of analysis, advanced concepts in epidemiology, genetic epidemiology, disease burden, uncertainty and risk communication, clinical epidemiology, epidemiology etiological, causal mediation analysis, environmental epidemiology.

Two thematic courses will be held in the week 13 to 16 June: "GIS (Geographic Information Systems) in Epidemiology" and "Frontiers in causality in epidemiology: Exposome".
These courses can be attended regardless of the frequency of the 3-week course.
