In Piedmont, 2016 has been the hottest year since 1958, the flood of November 22-26 is comparable in terms of severity to that of 1994, and in the first six months of 2017 the strike of the daily limit value of fine powders, PM10, has exceeded the threshold of 35 days provided by the regulations in the Municipalities of Turin, Alessandria and Vercelli.
