The latest estimates on air quality by the World Health Organization (WHO) confirmed that 92% of the world population lives in places where you exceed the safety levels set by the WHO itself.

The latest updates provided by WHO can be found in a dedicated web area of interactive maps, which highlight areas within countries that exceed the WHO threshold values, based on data derived from satellite measurements, models air transport and monitor of ground stations for more than 3 thousand locations, both rural and urban. The model was developed by WHO in collaboration with the University of Bath, UK.
