The annual meeting of the International Society for Environmental Epidemiology (ISEE), "Old and New Risks: Challenges for Environmental Epidemiology", will be held in Rome from 1 to 4 September.

It is a particularly important event for the participation of more than a thousand scientists from around the world engaged in research of health effects of air pollution, water and soil. It is expected the participation of several "invited speakers" as Joel Schawrtz, Annette Peters, Andy Haines, Philippe Grandjean, Roel Romeulen, Pier Alberto Bertazzi and Rodolfo Saracci.

The event is divided into 17 symposia and 47 parallel sessions for a total of more than 300 speeches and 1000 posters. The ISEE 2016 offers a unique global overview of the most innovative research in the field of air pollution, climate change, environmental disease of the fetus and child, radiation, waste, chemicals etc., Representing a must-have upgrade for those who deal with environment health. The conference ends, finally, with 10 educational initiatives (post-conference courses) on a variety of topics.
