Massimo Gion, scientific director of the Center for the Study of Regional Specialized Biochemical Indicators of cancer of the Veneto Region and a member of the Italian Network for Quality Assessment of tumor biomarkers (INQAT), will held a seminar entitled "Appropriateness of circulating biomarkers in oncology".

The appointment is in Turin, at the San Giovanni Antica Sede Center of Unified diagnostic cytological screening, June 12 starting at 14.

Gion, engaged for years in the study of biological markers for the purpose of establishing the guidelines all the more necessary in a field where currently there are highly unequal behavior, in 2014 he was awarded the prestigious "International Award for the Prevention of Cancer", established over thirty years ago by the Italian League for the Fight against Cancer (LILT) and awarded every four years, in a scientific personality that has demonstrated the most distinguished in the field of cancer prevention.
