The CPO, a quick overview
Since 1995 CPO Piemonte is the regional reference point for epidemiology and prevention in the oncology sector. CPO is active in cancer registration, primary cancer prevention, cancer screening programmes, monitoring the quality of care for oncological patients and research on cancer etiology. Since 2014 the WHO has identified the CPO as a Collaborative Center for cancer early detection.
