An article has been published on BMJ Open on the implementation in the Piedmont Region of the ERAS protocol in colorectal surgery, for better perioperative management and rapid return home of the patient.
The study is part of the EASY-NET national project, a project financed by the Ministry of Health (NET-2016-02364191) and co-financed by the Regions of Piedmont, Lombardy, Friuli Venezia Giulia, Emilia Romagna, Lazio, Calabria, Sicily.
To date, 2990 patients have been enrolled in the colorectal surgery course and 2438 in gynecological surgery in Piedmont.
