The fundraising promoted by friends and colleagues of Leonardo Ventura, a statistician at ISPRO in Florence who died prematurely two years ago, made possible the establishment of the "Leonardo Ventura" award aimed at enhancing the research work carried out by young epidemiologists and epidemiologists .
