The new edition of "The numbers of cancer in Italy 2023", the report born from the collaboration between the Italian Association of Medical Oncology (AIOM), the Italian Association of Cancer Registries (AIRTum), the AIOM Foundation, the Observatory National Screening (ONS), PASSI (Progress of Healthcare Companies for Health in Italy), PASSI d'Argento and the Italian Society of Pathological Anatomy and Diagnostic Cytology (SIAPEC-IAP), has been presented.

“Cancer numbers in Italy 2023” provides a detailed analysis of the main epidemiological data on cancers in Italy and touches on topics of great relevance and interest: from the right to oncological oblivion to the role of telemedicine and technological innovations in the field of tumors, especially with a view to effectively integrating new technologies into the workflow of healthcare professionals.
